Healthy Together Grampians Goldfields
Healthy Together Grampians Goldfields aims to improve people's health where they live, learn, work and play.
The initiative focuses on addressing the underlying causes of poor health in children's settings, workplaces and communities to strengthen the health prevention system. The focus is on encouraging healthy eating and physical activity, and reducing smoking and harmful alcohol use.
Healthy Together Grampians Goldfields is part of Healthy Together Victoria which is jointly funded by the State Government of Victoria and the Australian Government through the National Partnership Agreement on Preventive Health (NPAPH).
Healthy Together Grampians Goldfields is one of 12 Healthy Together Communities in Victoria and covers Central Goldfields Shire, Pyrenees Shire and Ararat Rural City. At a local level we are working with a range of organisations including Maryborough District Health Service, East Grampians Health Service, Beaufort & Skipton Health Service and Grampians Community Health on number prevention activities.
