Council Cuppa and Chat

Tuesday 06 June 2017, 11:26 AM

Councillors would like to share a cuppa with you, once a month on a Tuesday. These informal cuppa and chat sessions will provide you with the opportunity to meet the Councillors, have a chat about a project or an idea, and generally gain a better understanding about how Council operates. The sessions will be half an hour around 5-5.30pm.

June's cuppa and chat will be at Amphitheatre, at the Recreation Reserve from 5-5.30pm on Tuesday June 6. (This is earlier in the month because the Council Meeting is on June 13.)

Tuesday July 11: Lexton Rural Transaction Centre

Tuesday August 8: Avoca Town Hall

Tuesday September 12: Carranballac Recreation Reserve

Tuesday October 10: Waubra Hub

Tuesday November 14: Natte Yallock Recreation Reserve

This new initiative is part of Council's Engagement Strategy, which aims to improve the community’s involvement and understanding of decision making.

We acknowledge the people past and present of the Wadawurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Djab Wurrung tribes, whose land forms the Pyrenees Shire. We pay our respect to the customs, traditions and stewardship of the land by the elders and people of these tribes.
