Pyrenees Community Care

Tuesday 03 April 2018, 10:49 AM

Pyrenees Community Care is the new name for home support services in the Pyrenees. Council provides these services on behalf of the State and Federal governments to support people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Pyrenees Community Care provides home care, such as cleaning, personal care such as showers, as well as taking community members out for shopping and meals. Pyrenees Community Care also provides Social Support Groups in Beaufort and Snake Valley as well as monthly community meals.

Pyrenees Community Care is always striving to meet quality care standards set out by the funding bodies. PCC will be coming to your community in April to meet with as many clients as possible.

Please come along to one of the following information sessions, which will be catered for:

  • April 17th at 10.30am at the Snake Valley Hall
  • April 17th at 3.30pm at the Beeripmo Development Centre, Beaufort.
  • April 19th at 10.30am at the Lexton Community Centre
  • April 19th at 3.30pm at the Avoca Information Centre.

Anyone living outside of these areas please get in touch with us and we will arrange transport to and from the session. Please RSVP by Tuesday April 10 for catering purposes, either on 5349 1100 or to pyrenees@pyrenees.vic.gov.au

We acknowledge the people past and present of the Wadawurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Djab Wurrung tribes, whose land forms the Pyrenees Shire. We pay our respect to the customs, traditions and stewardship of the land by the elders and people of these tribes.
