In accordance with Section 54(5) of the Road Management Act 2004, the Pyrenees Shire Council gives notice that it intends to conduct a review of its Road Management Plan (Sept 07).
The purpose of the Review is to ensure that the standards in relation to and the priorities given to the inspection, maintenance and repair of the road network to which the Council’s Road Management Plan applies are safe, efficient and appropriate for the use by the community of the Pyrenees Shire.
The review encompasses all of the classes of roads and footpaths to which the Road Management Plan applies.
A copy of the draft Road Management Plan may be inspected at, or obtained from, the Council’s Municipal Offices (5 Lawrence Street Beaufort), or accessed on line by using the link below. Any person may make a submission, in writing, on the proposed review to Council’s Director of Assets & Development Services, Andrew Leach at 5 Lawrence Street Beaufort 3373 by Tuesday 8th of September 2009.
