These information sessions will be held in collaboration with Councillor Ward Meetings. The information sessions have been designed to be a “one stop shop” for residents to receive current and consistent information on the Community Services offered by the Pyrenees Shire Council, how they can be accessed and what the eligibility criteria is. The Community Services Information Sessions and Councillor Ward Meetings will be held: Tuesday October 27, 2009 10am – 12pm Amphitheatre Hall 6pm – 8pm Landsborough Mechanics Hall Wednesday October 28, 2009 10am – 12pm Waubra Recreation Reserve Thursday October 29, 2009 10am – 12pm Snake Valley Hall 6pm – 8pm Beaufort Community Bank Complex Wednesday November 4, 2009 6pm – 8pm Avoca Senior Citizens Come along to find out more about: Home & Community Care – worker recruitment and client access Planned Activity Group Shopping Bus Family Day Care – worker recruitment and client access Maternal & Child Health Nurse Community Grants Government grants that require council to be the applicant Recreation strategy consultation Community Action Plans – the process & their application   Councillor Ward Meetings An invitation is extended to all residents to “meet with your local Councillor” Please take the opportunity to come along and discuss any issues or local problems with your local Councillor at the combined Councillor Ward Meeting and Community Services Information Session.
