Community Service & Recognition Awards 2010 | |
In conjuction with the Australia Day Committee (Victoria), the Pyrenees Shire proposes to continue recognition for outstanding contribution to our community.
The 2010 Awards will once again include a Community Event of the Year.
Nominations are now called for:
Citizen of the Year Award To persons aged 27 years or older on 26th January, 2010.
Young Citizen of the Year Award To persons aged under 27 years of age at 26th January, 2010.
Community Event of the Year Award To the person/group who has staged the most outstanding community event during the year.
Criteria for the award in all categories in 'outstanding contribution to the local community.'
Nominations for each award are invited from organisations or individuals and should be accompanied by a citation setting out the community contribution made by the nominee.
Submissions for consideration should reach the Council of the Pyrenees Shire by Tuesday December 1st 2009. Nominations received after this date will not be considered.
