Railway Signal Box

Members of our Society are at present working on the restoration of the Signal Box situated at the Beaufort Railway Station, which was built 1887 and closed 1988.

In due course the signal box will be open for public viewing on specified days.

Many members of the community have also become involved with the project by donating/lending photographs and memorabilia to enable us to bring the box back to life, but we are still seeking telephones, bells, etc.

If you would like to help or require any further information please contact the Secretary.

Timberworkers' Hut
