Waubra Community Festival

We have had so much negative news on our small community regarding wind towers we desperately need to tell people how great Wind towers have been for our community and showcase what renewable energy has done for such a small community. Our festival held on Saturday October 6th, will showcase local fresh produce, a horticultural display, “Waubra Gift” running race, free rides and entertainment for adults and kids. Free wind tower tours and a free bus from Ballarat.

Waubra Community Festival is a great family day. The festival has stalls with local fresh produce, barbecues and many food stalls. Displays including hand shearing & spinning, boot scooting and the vintage and small engine club. The festival will include: - The Waubra Horticultural society will have a display of the local area - Free tours of the wind farm - A photo competition - Little athletics will be holding a running race - Just for the kids there will be rides, face painting, jumping castles, animal nursery and a rock climbing wall.
