Environmental Health

Premises registered under the Health and Food Acts are regularly inspected to ensure that the community is protected. Investigation into food complaints is also undertaken, along with the continued monitoring of hairdressers and beauticians aimed at preventing the spread of infectious disease.

Issues such as noise, pollution, food contamination or other public health issues should be directed to the Environmental Health Officer.

We acknowledge the people past and present of the Wadawurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Djab Wurrung tribes, whose land forms the Pyrenees Shire. We pay our respect to the customs, traditions and stewardship of the land by the elders and people of these tribes.
