Payment Options

There are a number of different payment options available to you for the payment of your Rates. These payment options can be used if you are paying your rates by installments or in full.

Please note: Postal or Agency transfer delays will not be accepted as an excuse for late payment. It is your responsibility to ensure payments are received on time.

Using Australia Post BillPay
  • In person at any post office. Simply present your rate notice intact with your payment (EFTPOS available and major credit cards accepted at larger office).

  • By phone on 13 18 16 for the cost of a local call (Mobiles excepted) you can pay over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply quote the Billpay Code and Customer Reference Number (CRN) on the front of your notice. Pay from your credit card or, after registration, your cheque or savings account. Register your cheque or savings account by phoning 13 18 16 at least 10 working days before making your payment.

Please Note: Each property has a different CRN, so multiple properties require a separate transaction for each.

Using BPay
  • Contact your participating Bank, Credit Union or Building Society to make this payment directly from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

  • When prompted, simply enter the Biller Code and your BPAY Reference Number shown on the front of your notice.

Using BPay View
  • It only takes a few minutes to get started with BPAY View. Simply log on to your online or mobile bank to register to have your Pyrenees Shire Rate and Valuation Notice sent electronically.
