Quality, Safety and Environmental Certification

Council has achieved certification to standards in Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

The Pyrenees Shire Council is committed to the philosophy that Best Business is best achieved through Integrated Management Systems which control the services we provide to our community. To support and achieve this aim, Council as a whole organisation achieved Certification as a Quality Certified Company to ISO 9001:2000 in November 2001, as a Safety Certified Company to AS 4801:2001 in May 2002 and as an Environmental Certified Company to ISO 14001:2004 in April 2007.
