2019-20 Annual Report published

Blaze Aid volunteers helping to rebuild fences following the Lexton Fire are the feature on this year’s Annual Report cover.

Council has finalised the 2019-20 Annual Report, and will soon have printed copies available for the public.

Mayor Damian Ferrari said the document was a snapshot in time for the organisation and the community.

“The front cover picture tells the story of a testing and trying 2019-20, but also shows the resilience of the Pyrenees community,” Cr Ferrari said.

“The report is an important tool to inform the community about Council’s operating position and financial viability,” he said.

“I would encourage you to read a copy via our website or drop in and see us for a hard copy.”

Councils across Victoria were allocated additional time to prepare the Annual Report in light of coronavirus restrictions.

The Annual Report was presented to the November Council meeting and provided to the Minister for Local Government by November 30.
