Community Meeting at Snake Valley

Published on 26 September 2018

Pyrenees Shire Council will soon release a proposed General Local Law 2018 to replace the existing Local Law No.2 Environment and Local Law No.3 Streets and Roads.

We want to ensure that the new laws are relevant, easier to understand, that they reflect community expectations, and maintain the safety and amenity of the Shire.

Most of the proposed new local laws will be familiar and are simply an up-to-date revision of the existing laws, but there are new and revised laws that will affect the general community, particularly around safety and amenity of property, temporary dwellings and shipping containers.

We are seeking community feedback from residents at a public meeting in Snake Valley on Saturday 13 October.  All are welcome to please join Cr Tanya Kehoe and staff members for an informal chat.

Where: Snake Valley Community Hall
When: Saturday 13th October 2018, 10.00am to 1.00pm
