Public Notice - Discontinuation of Road

Pyrenees Shire Council (“Council”), acting under Section 206 and Schedule10, Clause 3 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”), proposes to discontinue the road abutting Crown Allotment 6, Section L, and Crown Allotments 29 & 30, Section E1, Parish of Beaufort.
Pursuant to Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act) any person has a right to make a written submission on the discontinuation of the road.
Submissions must be received by Council before 5pm on Friday 21st June 2019. Submissions should be addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Pyrenees Shire, 5 Lawrence Street, Beaufort VIC 3373 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act. Any person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person to be heard in support of the submission.
Following consideration of any submissions, Council will determine whether the road will be discontinued.
