Pyrenees Shire Council has changed our internet and phone provider, as well as upgraded the server and firewall.

Our new internet speed will be ten times faster than the current services at the Council offices, Beaufort Community Resource Centre and the Avoca Community Information Centre.

Despite extensive pre-planning, Council is experiencing some intermittent issues with our systems.

Beaufort Community Resource Centre does not have reliable access to the Library loan system and is relying on alternative methods to issue books.

Staff are unable to renew loans at the Library, and customers are being issued fines. Borrowers issued fines during this time will not have to pay them.

Council is working to rectify the software problem as soon as possible and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. We would like to thank you for your patience during this period.

Council’s Information Technology staff are working hard to ensure continuity of service across our five sites in Avoca and Beaufort.
