The Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking responses for conservation work to the Avoca War Memorial.
The scope of works includes removal of acrylic paint over the War Memorial and all necessary render works required for the repair and restoration of the War Memorial which includes the parapet coping, entablature, balustrade sills, base of the columns and the lower level of the solid balustrades, the lower stepped brick rendered walls at each opening and the cleaning of the granite memorial plaques, repainting the black lead lettering, repairs to the concrete steps and floor of the pergola and repainting.
