PYRENEES COMMUNITY CARE SUPPORT STAFF
Casual – Band 2 ($29.74 per hour) and 3 ($30.92 per hour) + Casual Loading + Allowances

Pyrenees Shire is a progressive municipality and supportive organisation that serves a population of approximately 7,000 people.  Council’s administration is based at Beaufort, a 30 minute drive from Ballarat and Ararat and 90 minutes from Melbourne. The municipality is renowned for its natural environment, beautiful landscapes, agricultural production, charming character-filled towns and developing tourism industry including the renowned Pyrenees wine area.  It is supported by health, education and community services.

Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking to recruit staff to deliver Aged & Disability.  In partnership with the client, support staff provide home care, personal care & respite care services to support our client’s ability to live as independently as possible.

Working hours are from 7am -7pm Monday to Friday and may require some weekend work on the odd occasion.

Candidates without a formal qualification of Certificate III in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent, or individuals currently undertaking these studies will be considered.

Council will offer casual hours. Minimum hours will be discussed with the successful applicant based on their availability.

Furthermore, the successful candidate needs to be double vaccinated.

Council pays above Award wages and provides ongoing training opportunities. Council will offer permanent part time hours, minimum hours will be discussed with the successful applicant based on their availability.
