An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Project Management Facilitator to fill a strategic role within Council’s Community Wellbeing & Development Department.
The key objectives of the position are:
Manage and oversee Council’s project delivery program.
Support Project Delivery Team(s).
Build capacity of the organisation to deliver projects to achieve benefits to the community.
Develop and implement a good governance framework for project management.
Manage the delivery of projects allocated by Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with particular attention to high risk, high value projects.
The position will report directly to the Manager Community Wellbeing & Development.
It is essential that you possess appropriate qualifications in project management or a related field and demonstrated project management experience.
An attractive salary package will be offered that reflects the responsibility and accountability of the position. The salary classification for this position is Band 7 in accordance with the Victorian Local Authorities Award 2001.
