Nominations for Council's 2024 Australia Day Awards are now open.
Do you know someone who has done something extraordinary who you feel needs to be recognised publicly? Do you know an organisation/group that has held an amazing event in the Pyrenees Shire during 2023?
Nominate in these categories:
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
- Community Event of the Year
The closing date for nominations is 5pm Friday 1 December 2023
Winners will be announced on Australia Day, Friday 26 January 2024
at the Pyrenees Australia Day Ceremony in Avoca

The forms below can be either downloaded onto your computer to type into or downloaded to print and complete by hand. The completed nomination form can be lodged at the Beaufort Customer Service Centre - 5 Lawrence Street, Beaufort, or Avoca Information & Community Centre - 122 High Street, Avoca.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Winners in each category will be notified in late December 2023. Winners will be required to keep this information confidential. All winners will be invited to attend the Pyrenees Australia Day Awards ceremony on 26 January 2024 to accept their Award.
