A welcoming place to get together and have some fun!

Beaufort Social Support Group
Meet everything Thursday at the Community Centre in Pratt Street Beaufort from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Activities can include arts and crafts, film days, and outings to different places, theme days, special interest days and many more fun activities.

Snake Valley Social Support Group
Meet everything Wednesday at the Snake Valley Community Hall, Linton-Carngham Road from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Activities are similar to Beaufort Group.

Beaufort Out & About Social Support Group – Looking for people interested in participating!
Run on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Client directed travel to places within one hour trip from Beaufort.  

Avoca Out & About Social Support Group
Run every second Monday of each month. Client directed travel to places within one hour from Avoca.

Beaufort Shopping Bus – Waiting list
Runs every Tuesday. People are picked up and taken to Beaufort CBD to do banking, pay bills, and collect medication or do food shopping.

Hydrotherapy Social Support Group  - Residents seeking assistance and guidance with gentle exercise to stay active, mobile and have some fun. An exercise physiologist does an assessment to create a personal exercise plan for you. Held every Friday morning at the Ballarat Aquatic Centre. You will need to pay for your pool entry fee.

Community Meal
Held on last Wednesday of the month from 12.00pm to 2.00pm at Beaufort Community Bank Complex, Park Road Beaufort. Enjoy a 3 course meal served by students and staff from the Beaufort Secondary College.  A great way to meet with other members of our community!

Memories & Melodies
Designed for people looking for support with the challenges that memory loss can have on a person and their family. Activities are planned and run by a trained and caring staff.
Beaufort – Mondays 9.30am to 12.30pm at the Community Centre on Pratt Street.
Avoca- Wednesdays 9.30am to 12.30pm at Senior Citizens Centre on High Street.  

Transport
Are you thinking, this is great but how do I get there?
All Social Support Group attendees are provided with transport if they need it, to and from all venues.

How do I get involved?
You need to be registered with My Aged  Care and have Social Support Group included.
Cost of each session is $8.00 and clients are billed monthly.
