This project is on Dja Dja Wurrung Country.

This project involved the replacement of the median strip on the Sunraysia Hwy (just north of its intersection with Williams St).

The old median strip was identified for replacement in the Pyrenees Futures township plans.

Contractor Fulton Hogan has now rebuilt the median strip slightly wider than the original, and once the new plantings get established the median strip will look much better.

This project was funded through the Federal Government’s Drought Community Program and cost $75,000.
