Christmas/New Year service alterations:
Beaufort Council Office
The Council office will be closed from 3pm, Wednesday 24 December 2025 until 9am, Monday 5 January 2026.
The office will also close from 12pm on Friday 19 December 2025 for the rest of the day.
* Staff will be available over the holidays to ensure essential services are maintained and if an emergency response is required.
Information Centres/Libraries
The Avoca Information and Community Centre and the Beaufort Community Resource Centre will be closed from 3pm, Wednesday 24 December 2025 until 10am on Saturday 27 January 2025, and closed on Thursday 1 January 2026.
The Resource Centres will also close from 12pm on Friday 19 December 2025 for the rest of the day.
Waste collection
Rubbish will be collected the day after their usual day.
- Thursday 25 December - collected Friday 26 December
- Friday 26 December - collected Saturday 27 December
- Thursday 1 January - collected Friday 2 January
- Friday 2 January - collected Saturday 3 January
Transfer Stations
Transfer stations will not open Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day
