Avoca Information and Community Centre
Nestled in the heart of Central Victoria at the base of the stunning Pyrenees Ranges, the charming township of Avoca is home to the Avoca Information and Community Centre. Located in Avoca's main street, the centre is a welcoming hub for both locals and visitors.
The Centre offers a modern library service with access to books, eBooks and audiobooks, along with free Wi-Fi, public computers, and printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. Friendly staff are also available to provide IT assistance, helping you get the most out of your devices and online services.
In addition to library services, the Centre is an important access point for community and government support, including Services Australia and Centrelink, as well as access to Pyrenees Shire Council services and local community information. It’s a place where residents can stay informed, access essential services, and connect with what’s happening in the region.
For visitors
Visitors will also find the Centre a valuable stop when exploring the area. As a local tourist information point, staff can provide helpful advice on nearby attractions, scenic walks, and the rich history of Avoca and the surrounding Pyrenees region. Whether you’re enjoying the natural beauty of the landscape or taking in the heritage streetscape, the centre is a great place to start.
Additional facilities include meeting rooms for community use and a community car service, supporting connection and accessibility within the town.
