Road Excavation Permits are issued from the Pyrenees Shire Council. Road Openings include driveway crossings, culverts and pipe works under the road. The applicant requesting a Road Excavation Permit may be either a Registered Tradesperson or property owner. The standard conditions on the back of the road excavation permit need to be addressed. Payment of an application fee is required, but it is dependent on the works being carried out. You will be required to provide details of your planned excavation work for your permit application. Please liaise with Council when filing your permit.
Other works within the road reserve please contact Council's Project Management Officer on 1300 PYRENEES (1300 797 363).
