Pyrenees Libraries and Resource Centres
Pyrenees Shire Council is home to two resource centres: one in Avoca, the Avoca Information and Community Centre and the other in Beaufort, the Beaufort Community Resource Centre. These resource centres are home to Pyrenees Libraries, information for tourists, free wi-fi, photocopiers, conference room hire and computer access.
Lexton's Rural Transaction Centre offers free Wi-Fi and a public access computer, while Landsborough Resource Centre has three public access computers and free Wi-Fi.
Council also provides a Mobile Library Service that travels throughout the Shire. Visit our mobile library page to check when the library van is next in your area.
Pyrenees Libraries
Pyrenees Libraries are part of the Central Highlands Libraries group, which contains a large catalogue of books, magazines, DVDs, audio books and eResources. Membership of the library is free, and your membership allows access to all of the Central Highlands Libraries across the region.
You can join by calling into either Resource Centre or join online at Central Highlands Libraries.
You can also order items from the library catalogue and they'll be delivered to your library of choice.
