From 12pm Tuesday 22 September Pyrenees Shire Council will enter into the Election Period prior to the October 2020 (Local Government) Council election.
Pyrenees Shire Council is required to develop and maintain a Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP)which outlines how the Council and its supporting agencies will meet the requirements of the four responsibilities listed above. A copy of the MEMP can be viewed here.
The MEMP also has a number of sub-plans which outline additional detail and operating procedures for the more complex and high risk emergencies including:
