Pyrenees Shire Australia Day 2026

Join us from 10am on January 26 at the Goldfields Recreation Reserve for Australia Day celebrations including a citizenship ceremony and the Australia Day Awards.

Free activities and displays to be enjoyed by the whole family from 10am to 2pm.

10 am Morning tea

11 am Official Australia Day celebrations commence:

• MC Mr Douglas Ball, AM, RFD
• Citizenship Ceremonies
• Australia Day address
• Announcement of the recipients of the Australia Day Awards

12 pm BBQ lunch

Free Activities include:

• Gold Panning Competition - Sponsored by E.E Day & Sons, Gold Ballarat
• Western Bulldogs roadshow
• Wicked Wildlife
• Airbrush tattooing
• Face painting
• Beaufort CFA display
• Fural's wood working workshop
• Mini Golf
