The Waubra Recreation Reserve is located on land owned by Pyrenees Shire Council.

Council has delegated the Waubra Community Asset Committee (CAC) responsibility for maintaining and managing the reserve’s assets on Council’s behalf.

In November 2025, Council adopted the Waubra Recreation Reserve Master Plan.

Playground development

A new playground at the Waubra Recreation Reserve has been funded by AusNet's Community Benefit Fund and funds raised by the community.

Council is delivering the new playground on behalf of the community on Council land.

Power upgrade project

The Waubra Recreation Reserve power upgrade project has provided a three-phase power upgrade to the reserve and its main assets.

Solar panel and battery supply works are about to begin.

Netball redevelopment

The Victorian Government has recently provided $40,000 for funding for detailed designs and costings for a netball court upgrade, including female friendly changerooms and spectator seating.
