Plant Operator (Beaufort)

Band 3 (Salary $70,642 - $75,265 incl. RDO) + Super
The Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Plant Operator to join the Works team based in Beaufort. This full-time role is primarily responsible for the proficient, safe and efficient operation of a range of plant associated with road maintenance and renewal activities. The right candidate will require a range of skills including experience with a variety of heavy plant and equipment. Activities undertaken will include but not be limited to assisting in sealed road repairs, traffic management installation, gravel road maintenance, litter control, drainage works, bridge maintenance, road construction, roadside signage and guidepost maintenance and installation and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a sound understanding of workplace safety requirements who has practical experience in municipal maintenance and hold a Heavy Rigid licence.
