During an emergency

During an emergency, the RESPONSE to emergency is a shared responsibility of residents and ratepayers, Council and, according to the emergency, emergency response agencies including but not limited to: CFA, VICSES, various State Government agencies and VicPol. Council is always a support, rather than a lead agency.

Seek and monitor reliable information about what is happening and follow advice from emergency services.

Enact your emergency plan and escalate when the emergency does.

Life-threatening emergencies call Triple Zero - 000

Storm/Flood emergencies call SES - 132 500
