The 2025 Pyrenees Shire Council Community Satisfaction Survey has been released.

The annual Local Government Victoria telephone survey of participating councils resulted in Council’s results being bench-marked against the state average and the small rural councils’ average.

Council has resolved to:

  • Publish the 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey on its website
  • Use the survey results to review Council Plan performance targets where appropriate
  • Use the survey results to support the new Council Plan’s implementation
  • Use the survey results to review specific areas for continued improvement
  • Use the survey results relating to local roads to support ongoing advocacy for increased critical infrastructure funding and more responsive disaster funding.

Pyrenees Shire CEO Jim Nolan said it was important to listen to the community.

“We want the community front and centre of what we are doing,” Mr Nolan said.

“This survey will help inform our continuous improvement program.”
