Soft Plastic Program

Residents of Pyrenees Shire can now recycle their soft plastics through the new Soft Plastic Program.
Simply place all accepted soft plastic waste into the approved orange recycling bags. From 2 March 2026 you can place full orange bags in your recycling bin for collection.

Waste Collection Dates

To find out when your next rubbish collection day is please type your Pyrenees Shire street address below (for example, try typing 5 Lawrence Street, Beaufort).

If your address does not come up you may not have a waste collection service at your property. Apply to get your rubbish collected.

Transfer stations

Transfer stations in Avoca, Beaufort, Landsborough and Snake Valley will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. They will operate as normal on other days.
