The Community Development Team looks after community wellbeing, recreation, youth development and project management to create a liveable communities. The team is guided by actions in the following strategies:

Parks and recreation

Pyrenees Shire has many parks, playgrounds and recreation reserves available for the community.   

Swimming pools

Pyrenees Shire has three outdoor swimming pools: Beaufort, Avoca and Landsborough. For more information on locations, opening hours and prices, visit the pool pages.

Update group/committee contact details

One of the best ways to keep community groups/committees up to date with information such as programs, grants, events etc. is for Council to have up to date contact information. It would be great to have your group/committee's up to date details.  You can do this by filling out the online form below or printing and completing the attached form and sending it into Council or contacting Council on 1300 797 363.

The contact details on this form will be used by Council staff for the purpose of contacting groups/committees and providing up to date information such as programs, grants, events etc.
