The biggest street party in the Pyrenees returns Friday 5 December.

Beaufort will explode to life as the much-loved Beaufort by Twilight festival returns. The festival invites locals and visitors to enjoy an evening packed with food, fun, creativity and festive magic.

The event will feature food trucks, live music and buskers. The famous Twilight Christmas Markets are back, with local businesses staying open later, giving everyone the chance to find unique gifts for the whole family.

The standout of the 2025 program is the huge variety of entertainment on offer. Festival goers can enjoy roving street performers as well as workshops and activities.  Artists will include human sized roaming lizards, Dr Hubble and his incredible bubbles, a circus workshop, painting activities and a wreath making session. You can also get family Christmas portraits at the Beaufort Library.

Don’t forget about the kids’ activities such as facepainting, a photo booth with mischievous Santa, mini golf and a jumping castle.

For the more adventurous there will be a scavenger hunt supported by Beaufort Secondary College arts students. Follow the clues located around the festival to go into the draw to win a local business shopping voucher.

“Beaufort by Twilight has become a much-loved event in the local calendar. It brings people together, supports local businesses and offers something for locals and visitors alike,” Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Damian Ferrari said.

“This year’s lineup of performers and activities is outstanding, and we’re excited to see Beaufort’s streets buzzing with festive energy.” he said.

The fun starts at 5pm on Friday 5 December. For more information visit pyrenees.vic.gov.au/beaufortbytwilight.
