Minister tours rejuvenated local halls
Published on 09 September 2022
Last week, state Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford, toured our three updated Halls.
Raglan, Barkly, and Redbank halls all received funding from the state government to undergo some much-needed repair and refurbishment works.
Our halls are central to our community, as a space to gather and bring everyone together, hosting regular events like pizza nights, mobile library visits, and Tai Chi among other things. With our ability to come together again after the closures during COVID, it’s more important than ever to have comfortable facilities for our communities to use.
We want to thank Minister Pulford and the state government for the funding to upgrade these halls. This kind of funding gives our community spaces more chances at a longer life, and our community members a dedicated gathering space.
The halls are in great condition and are ready to continue hosting birthdays, engagements and community functions for many years to come.
