Events in the Pyrenees
The Pyrenees Shire is home to a vibrant year-round calendar of events, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Food and wine are a highlight, featuring award-winning wineries, cellar door experiences and the popular Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival each April. Visitors can also enjoy country racing at the Avoca Shire Turf Club race meetings in April and October.
The Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally, held in May and November, attracts visitors from across Australia, while local community groups host markets, art exhibitions, festivals and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
