Bushfire Support and Advice
Our Beaufort Office and Resource Centres will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday. Waste collections scheduled for Good Friday will be picked up Saturday, with Monday collections as usual.
This Friday it is International Women’s Day. Come and join us at the Beaufort Library for morning tea on Friday 8th March, starting at 10.15 for a 10.30am start to celebrate.
Our guest for the morning is Ms Judy Maddigan, former MP for the Victorian Legislative Assembly electorate of Essendon, and the first female to hold the office of Speaker for the Legislative Assembly, from February 2003 to December 2006. A librarian by profession, Judy has a distinguished and highly regarded background in community activism and representation. Among other things, Judy will be speaking on diverse subjects including women in parliament and community activism.
For catering purposes, could you please RSVP your attendance to the Beaufort Library by telephone 5349 1182.
