Community Education Trauma Care Workshop: Pyrenees VIC

About this event

CareFlight Community Education brings highly qualified emergency response specialists - doctors, nurses and paramedics to all areas across Australia to teach participants how to manage a trauma patient should they be first on scene at an accident. It is a hands-on Trauma Care Workshop that provides practical training on pre-hospital trauma management.

This 8 hour training program requires no previous experience and is FREE to all attendees who are prepared to play a vital role as a first responder in their community. The workshop aims on building skills, knowledge, confidence and resilience in the community.

Topics covered include - Patient assessment, airway obstructions and management, catastrophic haemorrhage control, severe burns management, spinal injuries and mass casualty situations.
