Pink Stumps Day - Beaufort Cricket Club

 

 

Beaufort Cricket Club will be turning Pink and hosting Pink Stumps Day for 2023 to fundraise for the McGrath Foundation. This FREE event will be held on Saturday 18 February at Goldfields Recreation Reserve, Park Road, Beaufort.

There will be a raffle, auction/s and numerous family activities such as wheelbarrow racing, egg & spoon racing, best dressed pink outfit and more!

The day will entail our U15, A Reserve and A Grade players playing home games at the main oval and Beaufort Secondary College ovals, come and try Cricket Blasters and Social Sixers (Female Cricket) and hosting family activities. We have registered with the McGrath Foundation to hold the Pink Stumps Day.

Beaufort Cricket Club are looking forward to hosting this FREE community event and giving back to a worthy fundraiser as cancer has affected many of us in one way or another. This was a successful day for the club last year, raising close to $4000 for the McGrath Foundation and this year, we would love to top last year’s efforts. Please visit our Facebook Page

The McGrath Foundation’s mission is to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a breast care nurse. The money raised will help support people with breast cancer by providing specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses where they are most needed across Australia.

With 193 McGrath Breast Care Nurses working right across the country and having supported more than 118,000 families – the McGrath Foundation are certainly on their way to achieving their goal of 250 McGrath Breast Care Nurses by 2025. However, there is more work to be done if the McGrath Foundation is to achieve its vision of ensuring that no one misses out on care.
