This October, the Victorian Seniors Festival 2026 will bring communities across the Pyrenees Shire together for a month-long celebration of connection, learning, creativity and fun. With a diverse program of free and low-cost events in Avoca, Beaufort, Landsborough, Snake Valley and Waterloo, the festival offers older residents and visitors the chance to explore new interests, reconnect with friends, enjoy live entertainment and discover local services and community groups.
Highlights of this year's program include the Beaufort Big Day Out, featuring a community lunch, retirement information session, service expo and performance by renowned magician and mentalist Cath Jamison, as well as a free country concert and shopping bus trip to Ballarat. Festival-goers can also enjoy musical performances, an old-time dance, historical reunions, craft workshops, birdwatching sessions, community gatherings and scam awareness programs designed to help seniors stay safe and connected in an increasingly digital world.
Whether you're looking to learn something new, revisit old memories or simply spending time with friends and loved ones, there's something for everyone during the Victorian Seniors Festival 2026!
Enjoy a morning of live music with acclaimed vocalist Dannielle DeAndrea, whose engaging blend of country, pop, soul and jazz favourites will take centre stage at the free Victorian Seniors Festival Country Concert at Ballarat Civic Hall.
Bus leaving from the front of the Avoca Senior Citizens Centre at 9:30am. Bus will depart Stockland at 2:30pm Lunch and shopping at Stockland after the concert at own cost.
