Our Beaufort Office and Resource Centres will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday. Waste collections scheduled for Good Friday will be picked up Saturday, with Monday collections as usual.
Members of the community are invited to attend the official opening of the Bulaki Wuka Digital Hub in Avoca on Tuesday 14 March.
The new Bulaki Wuka Digital Hub is a user-friendly co-working space designed to give businesses and community members access to digital technology and improve internet connectivity and digital skills within the district.
The hub is located in the Avoca Information and Community Centre (AICC) adjacent to library services, visitor information services and Council’s Customer Service Centre.
‘The Bulaki Wuka Digital Hub’ is an indigenous name which translates to ‘giving to the community’ in English. The name was approved by Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation.
Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Cr Ron Eason will attend the opening, along with Councillors, Council's Executive and Project Team.
