Rocky Road Bayindeen Fire – Repairs
Guideposts and signs have been replaced on all roads affected by the Bayindeen-Rocky Road fire. Designs have been completed for all guardrail repairs, and a guardrail will be repaired on Main Lead Road in early July. Further quotation requests are being prepared and will be sought for repairs on Raglan-Elmhurst Road.
Streatham – Yalla-Y-Poora Fire - Repairs
Guideposts and signs have been replaced on all roads affected by the Streatham–Yalla-Y-Poora fire.
The costs to repair the infrastructure are covered through Commonwealth and Victorian Government funding and works are expected to be completed by June 2026. The project will make the infrastructure safe for the community and assist in building resilience towards future fires.
