David Clark is strategic thinker, a local champion and the Ercildoune Ward Councillor.

Cr Clark’s breadth of experience varies from accounting, community development to natural resource management.

Cr Clark is the deputy chair of the Municipal Association of Victoria.

He appreciates the character of the Pyrenees landscape including the rolling hills, rich soils, forests of many eucalypts and other species.

Cr Clark was first elected to Council in 1992 and re-elected in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020.

His inspiration to join Council was the chance to make a difference and to use his skills, which are much more strategic than practical, to best effect.

He highlights continuing to improve gravel roads, a more digitally astute Council and communities who (in general) are all after the same stuff for their future as his aspirations for this Council term.

Cr Clark operates a mixed farming property at Glenbrae and shares his life with his wife Peta, and three children.
