Anyone who is planning an event and needs to hire a building or space leased out by the Pyrenees Shire Council should note that all attendees to the event need to be recorded for COVID-19 contact tracing reasons.
This can be done using a government issued QR Code and a manual sign-in sheet (for anyone who doesn't have a smart phone).
If you would like to access a QR Code for a community building you can contact Kathy Bramwell at the Pyrenees Shire Office: 5 Lawrence St Beaufort, Vic 3373 Email: pyrenees@pyrenees.vic.gov.au Phone: 1300 PYRENEES (1300 797 363)
Alternatively, the Victorian State Government offers a free QR Code service that you can access here.
Note: if a manual sign-in sheet is used, the organiser should keep the sheet for a period of one month and then dispose of it securely (ie destroy it). Alternatively, manual sign in sheets can handed in to Council and we will ensure the sign-in sheet is properly disposed of.
The DHHS has produced this presentation to provide guidelines on record keeping for community facilities. Download the PDF document via this link.(PDF, 281KB)
