Pyrenees Shire Council has recently transitioned to a new online planning approvals system called ‘Greenlight’.
Greenlight is a web based portal, that provides for the online lodging of planning permit applications, the uploading of supporting documentation and the payment of application fees. It also allows applicants to monitor and track the progress of their applications, whilst liaising with Council planning staff.
Additionally, Greenlight allows for the succinct referral of applications to external agencies as required. It will also be the platform for members of the community to make submissions in response to proposed developments.
All current applications are being managed via Greenlight and Council are please to confirm that the transition will not impact or delay response times.
Council anticipates that the use of Greenlight will provide for faster approval times and an improved customer experience.
