Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking public feedback on its Council Plan 2025-2029 draft initiatives.

The draft initiatives represent the work proposed to implement the Council Plan 2025-2029 which was endorsed by Council in July.

Pyrenees Shire Mayor Tanya Kehoe said it had been a huge process to draft the initiatives, and Council was keen to get the community’s perspective on what they want delivered in the next few years.

“These initiatives, once adopted, will form the main body of Council’s work over our Council term,” Cr Kehoe said.

“It’s important these initiatives reflect what the community needs, and that they are aligned with our long-term financial sustainability so we can best serve our community into the future and enable our residents and economy to grow and prosper."

A survey is now available to provide feedback on the draft initiatives, while written submissions will be received until 9am Wednesday 15 October addressed to Pyrenees Shire Council, 5 Lawrence Street, Beaufort 3373 or at pyrenees@pyrenees.vic.gov.au.

Anyone wishing to detail their submission to Council personally can request to appear before the Monday 20 October Ordinary Council meeting.
