Pyrenees Shire Council is clarifying that upcoming changes to Parks Victoria’s camping fees do not apply to Avoca riverside free camping which remains free of charge with no bookings required.
This clarification comes after the Victorian Government announced it will reintroduce half-price camping fees at bookable campgrounds across Parks Victoria sites for the next two years from July 1, 2025.
