A 40-page publication showcasing all the amazing attractions of the Pyrenees region has been released.

The Pyrenees Visitor Guide complements the current Visit Pyrenees app and website and includes everything to see and do in the area in one handy booklet.

Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Cr Tanya Kehoe said the guide was informative and would inspire more tourists to visit the region.

“It’s a wonderful way to highlight our visitor centres and tourism operators,” Cr Kehoe said.

“It will help attract people here and encourage them to stay longer or plan their return in the future, all of which helps provide a massive boost to the local economy.

“It’s really a one-stop shop of what our fabulous Pyrenees region has to offer.”

The Pyrenees Visitor Guide is published every two years and is compiled by Visit Pyrenees staff in conjunction with tourism operators.

“This guide has proven really popular in the past and complements the fabulous Visit Pyrenees website and app.”

The Pyrenees Visitor Guide is available from visitor centres across Victoria as well as in local businesses, accommodation venues, the Ballarat Railway Station and handed out at trade shows and events.
