See Beaufort shine at twilight this Friday

For one night in December, the township of Beaufort will be buzzing with entertainment, performers and activities for all ages.

After a successful event last year, Beaufort by Twilight returns on Friday 15 December 2023 from 5pm, transforming the town into sprawling twilight wonderland as the sun sets.

“It’s great to see Beaufort by Twilight back this year, it’s a great way to celebrate in the leadup to Christmas and take a moment to do some Christmas shopping and support local businesses,” Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Cr Robert Vance said.

Local retail and hospitality venues will stay open so visitors and locals alike can enjoy what Beaufort has to offer.

Whether its date night, after-work drinks, an overdue catch-up with friends or an excuse to get out and about, come and see Beaufort in a whole new light.

The Beaufort Municipal Band will host the annual Christmas Carols in the Rotunda from 7:15pm, the Beaufort Twilight Market will return to Memorial Park with over 30 stalls, street performers will entertain children and adults alike, and there will be plenty of activities to keep the little ones happy.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating Beaufort and Christmas with locals and visitors to the area this week,” Cr Vance said.
