Beaufort residents are being invited to have their final say on the Beaufort Linear Master Plan.

The Beaufort Linear Park project aims to create a recreational corridor along the course of Garibaldi Creek, stretching from Beaufort Lake to the intersection with Yam Holes Creek north of the railway line.

A draft copy of the Master Plan was presented to the community at the Beeripmo Centre in Beaufort earlier this month.

The draft plan is based on information gathered through a series of community engagement activities. These included events with schools, service clubs, community groups and traditional custodians, along with visits to retailers, surveys, workshops, pop-up events, site walks and face-to-face meetings.

The draft Master Plan has been placed on public exhibit at Council offices, the Beaufort Community Resource Centre, on Council’s website at www.pyrenees.vic.gov.au/BeaufortLinearMasterplan and Council’s Engagement Hub at engage.pyrenees.vic.gov.au.

Community members are invited to have their say on the draft plan. You can submit your feedback through Council’s Engagement Hub at engage.pyrenees.vic.gov.au or in person at Council offices or the Beaufort Community Resource Centre.

Submissions close on 30 November 2023.
